The ISJO in 2025 adopted a new Code of Meeting Practice developed in accordance with the Model Meeting Code prescribed in 2025.
Since that time the 2025 Model Code has been disallowed by the Legislative Council and the currently prescribed Model Meeting Code for NSW councils is now the 2021 Model Code of Meeting Practice.
As a result of the above the ISJO Code of Meeting Practice adopted by the Board in 2025 has been removed from the ISJO website and the organisation’s former Code of Meeting Practice (reformated in 2022) has been restored pending a new Model Code being developed.
The NSW Ombudsman has a range of videos and information resources on the aims and requirements of the Public Information Act 2022.
