IDWA have trialled the use of drones to map areas of invasive weeds.

Bitou Bush is a destructive weed that threatens our native plants and animal species. Drones are able to pinpoint the areas affected, spray with minimal drift and can spot spray in hard to access areas.

The trails took place on Tuesday 2 May and Wednesday 3 May 2022.
